The Eastern Shore Wind Ensemble, conducted by Dr. Keith A. Wharton, will take its audience to cities near and far in its final concert of the season. The program features medleys that celebrate two American cities in particular: "Chicago (That Toddlin' Town)" and "Salute to New York." The spirit of other American cities and towns is conveyed in "Quad City Stomp," "River City," Bridgeview," "Delmar Celebration," and "Nightflight." European cities are represented by "Un Petit Cafe a Paris" and the Finale from "The Pines of Rome."
The ESWE is an all-ages community band founded in 2001. New members are always welcome, without audition or fee.
