Dina Falconi, clinical herbalist with a strong focus on food activism and nutritional healing, will kick off the Center for Environment & Society’s 20th Anniversary Events Series on Sept. 17.
The free and public presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Litrenta Lecture Hall at Washington College’s Toll S. Center, followed by a book sale and signing.
Falconi’s Foraging & Feasting Presentation will explore the culinary treasures hidden in wild foods. Learn to identify, harvest, and prepare these ancient foods so you can easily incorporate them into your daily meals.
TOWN TRASH & RECYCLING SERVICES The Town will be divided into two collection areas, both of which will be serviced twice each week. Collection of garbage and trash will be conducted in one area on Monday and Thursday evenings, and the other on Sunday and Wednesday evenings; except no collection will be made on New Years’ Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, but will be made on the next regular collection day after the holiday.
