Journeys & Adventures: Free Band Concert by the Eastern Shore Wind Ensemble

March 17 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Conducted by Music Director Charles Thai, the all-ages community concert band based in Chestertown will present its 3rd concert of 4 this season. Some pieces are about journeying and adventuring in general while some are about journeys with Celtic destinations, fitting on St. Patrick's Day. Appealing musical journeys are taken in “Fantasy on Childhood Songs" and in “Baba Yetu."
The ESWE welcomes new members, without audition or fee. Rehearsals are Mondays, 7-8:30 p.m., in the band room in Gibson Center for the Arts, Washington College. Rehearsals for the May 19 concert begin March 18.
