Kohl Gallery Opening Reception: Amber Robles-Gordon

Mixed-media artist Amber Robles-Gordon presents a solo exhibit titled ‘Materialisms: the cultivation of womanhood & agency through materiality,’ on view September 6- October 9Kohl Gallery at Washington College will kick off the 2018-19 academic year with a solo exhibit titled Material-isms: the cultivation of womanhood and agency through materiality, featuring Washington, DC based mixed-media artist Amber Robles-Gordon. Opening on Thursday, September 6 with a public reception from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Material-isms will run through October 10. This exhibition will feature assemblage and installation works created from a range of found objects and textiles. Robles-Gordon will also deliver a public talk in the gallery on Thursday, September 13 at 3:00 p.m.

TOWN TRASH & RECYCLING SERVICES The Town will be divided into two collection areas, both of which will be serviced twice each week. Collection of garbage and trash will be conducted in one area on Monday and Thursday evenings, and the other on Sunday and Wednesday evenings; except no collection will be made on New Years’ Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, but will be made on the next regular collection day after the holiday. Recycling: Paper, aluminum, household plastics picked up each Friday call 410-928-3333 (Infinity Recycling).
