The Backyard Medicine Cabinet – Simple remedies for everyday ailments

Plants have been used throughout history to heal wounds, settle tummies and soothe coughs. Learn which plants to cultivate in your own living medicine cabinet, their historic uses and simple ways to prepare.
This talk will be presented by Deborah Mizeur and Krista Lamoreaux of Herbal Alchemy and is sponsored by the Center for Environment & Society, the Chestertown Environmental Committee, Apotheosis Farm and Herbal Alchemy.

Collection of garbage and trash will be conducted in one area on Monday and Thursday evenings, and the other on Sunday and Wednesday evenings; except no collection will be made on New Years’ Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, but will be made on the next regular collection day after the holiday.
