Sumner Hall will be open to the public for 30 hours per week during the exhibition. The Smithsonian’s The Way We Worked traveling exhibition will be displayed on the second floor of Sumner Hall along with a “Hands On” Kid’s Corner. The first floor will feature locally produced exhibition, The Black Labor Experience in Kent County; Free and Enslaved; Founders and Soldiers; Tools of the Trades and Contemporary Work Stories.

Collection of garbage and trash will be conducted in one area on Monday and Thursday evenings, and the other on Sunday and Wednesday evenings; except no collection will be made on New Years’ Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, but will be made on the next regular collection day after the holiday.
