An event every week that begins at 8:00am on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, repeating indefinitely

The Town will be divided into two collection areas, both of which will be serviced twice each week. Collection of garbage and trash will be conducted in one area on Monday and Thursday evenings, and the other on Sunday and Wednesday evenings; except no collection will be made on New Years’ Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, but will be made on the next regular collection day after the holiday. Yard Waste and Bulk Trash  You must call 410-778-0500 to arrange a pickup, which is free of charge. Bulk trash is picked up Mon. & Fri. – call 410-778-0500 and a nominal fee will be charged depending on the types of items. If you have problems or questions concerning regular garbage pickup, please call 410-778-0500.

The Maryland Wineries Association will be hosting a Winemaker Seminar Series consisting of interactive seminars lead by multiple winemakers. The first in the series, What’s growing in Maryland?, explores Vidal Blanc grown from around the state & introduces the exciting red varietals growing from Western MD to the Eastern Shore. Thursday, March 2 @ 10am Friday, March 3 @ 7pm Saturday, March 4 @ 2pm and 7pm Sunday, March 2 @ 2pm   The Kent County High School Drama Club presents its spring play "The Little Mermaid." Shows are set for 10 a.m. Thursday, 7 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.   Admission is $10.   The cast includes: Zoe Panas and Jordan Jachimowicz as Ariel Cassie Plummer and Jordan Hickman as Ursula Shane Saunders as Scuttle Paulina Panas and Alison Ramieka as Flounder Sarah Cataldo as Flotsam Abby Collins as Jetsam Kyle Roderick as Sebastian Tim Wheeler as Triton Ellie Jetton as Carlotta Abby Crockett, Amber Johnson, Kayla Luhn and any leads who are "off" as mermaids and princesses.
