WC-ALL Annual Meeting

WC-ALL will hold its Annual Red Carpet Celebration and Academy Awards Presentation to honor 2018-19 instructors and present a scholarship check to Washington College. The prestigious George Award will also be presented to an instructor who has made notable contributions to WC-ALL. Hors d'ouvres and drinks along with a chance to socialize with friends will be part of the festive gathering. $30 members/$40 others. Chestertown Tea Party Festival

In response to British Parliament’s closing of the port of Boston, the citizens of Chestertown, Maryland met in May of 1774 and set forth “Resolves” forbidding importing, selling, or consuming tea in Chestertown. TOWN TRASH & RECYCLING SERVICES The Town will be divided into two collection areas, both of which will be serviced twice each week. Collection of garbage and trash will be conducted in one area on Monday and Thursday evenings, and the other on Sunday and Wednesday evenings; except no collection will be made on New Years’ Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, but will be made on the next regular collection day after the holiday.
