Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company
The Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company is one of seven organizations in Kent County. The company is staffed by dedicated volunteer men and women of all ages 100 percent of the time. Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company is a family away from home that is dedicated to serving and protecting life and property in Kent County and northern Queen Anne’s County.
We respond to 500-plus emergencies a year. We are the largest company in Kent County staffing three engines, one tower ladder, one heavy rescue, one tanker, one brush unit, one chief’s unit and a spill support trailer. The station is within walking distance of the Washington College campus.
