BID OPENING – CHESTERTOWN MARINA
DECEMBER 16, 2016
Mayor Cerino called the bid meeting for the Marina to order at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016. In attendance were W.S. Ingersoll (Town Manager), Kees de Mooy (Zoning Administrator), Jennifer Mulligan (Town Clerk) and guests.
Four bids were received as follows:
Hi-Tide Marine Construction, LLC Contract Price: $584,276.45

Hi-Tide has included a second proposal which we highly recommend the Town of Chestertown going with so that the construction is structurally sound. Total package price with bid conditions: $680,446.21

SG650 vinyl sheeting add $3.30 sq.ft. CLOC9000 Does not appear to be adequate. Alternate using a precast boat ramp (Deduct $10,000). It is our opinion as a marine contractor with 43 years of experience that the water work on this job cannot be completed by February 15, 2017. We propose working after the time of year restrictions. We are open to negotiation with respect to delivery.
Mayor Cerino stated that the bids will be checked for completeness and that all bidders will receive an electronic version of the bids for their review.
Mayor Cerino closed the meeting at 12:11 p.m.
