Downtown Chestertown Association (DCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting businesses and professional services in and around Chestertown through activities that encourage residents and tourists to visit and shop locally. As a member-based association, DCA is committed to providing current and prospective businesses with marketing opportunities in traditional formats as well as through social media platforms. Additional member benefits include featured listings on the newly revised DCA website, representation at town and county meetings and initiaves, networking and other outreach programs.
DCA has greatly shaped how members of our community interact with local businesses by creating awareness of the benefits of “Thinking Chestertown First,” as well as organizing and promoting numerous popular events. These initiatives and events, including First Fridays, Taste of the Town, Crazy Days, and Holiday Celebrations, allow our local businesses to work together while attracting families, tourists and local college students to our shops, galleries, service providers and non-profit organizations.
