He has appeared in three films (one produced by Leonardo DiCaprio), was dubbed "The Ice Maverick" by Rolling Stone Magazine, made 30 separate expeditions to Greenland, camped on the ice for over a year, and was even arrested in front of the White House while protesting a pipeline project.
