Join environmental artist, Stephanie Garon and Director of the River and Field Campus, Michael Hardesty for this participatory, informative experience. In this 2-hour OUTDOOR workshop, you will be introduced to the artist's creative process, the Phragmites australis plant, and you will actively participate in the removal of this invasive species from the Chester Riverbank. The plants extracted during the workshop will be used in the artist's upcoming exhibit, PRY opening late January 2022 in Chestertown. Free and open to the public.
