The Chestertown Environmental Committee is collecting the following items for recycling during the Farmer’s Market:
• Plastic bottle caps and flip tops
• Prescription bottles and caps
• Alkaline batteries A, AA, AAA, C, D, 9-volt, nickel batteries
• CFL lightbulbs
• Razors and blades
• Deodorant containers
* Make up and containers
• Empty toothpaste tubes
• Plastic floss containers
• Plastic toothbrushes
• Plastic bread clips
* Britta filters
* Pickleballs

Bottlecaps and plastics are made into benches for the Chestertown’s parks. Mayor David Foster is pictured with Jon Hanley sitting on our first bottlecap bench.
