The Dignity Project: human rights and dignity at the intersection of disability

November 2, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

The Young Alumni Series featuring Kelsey Chapman (nee Newborn) '12
Dignity is easy to discuss, but difficult to define. It is subjective, controversial, but highly relevant to the affordance and delivery of human rights for people with disability. Come and discuss ways to embed dignity and human rights into the way we work, build things, and treat people to disrupt business as usual for the 1 billion people living with disability globally. Hear about the importance of privileging the voices of lived experience and new approaches to research to drive innovation through The Dignity Project.
