PUBLIC NOTICE
On February 1, 2021 the Mayor and Council of Chestertown introduced Ordinance No. 01-2021 which proposes to amend Chapter 170-87C(5) of the Chestertown Zoning Ordinance (Signs Subject to Permit in the C-3 Neighborhood Commercial District). The Ordinance amendment would allow larger free standing signs on C-3 properties that have150 feet or more of street frontage and are outside of the Historic District. If enacted on February 16, 2021 this Ordinance would become effective on March 9, 2021.
