Hall-O-Teen Youth Event- 10/27/17- CRC will partner with the health department to show Coraline right after the fireworks. CRC will provide the funding for the license and the health department will use the equipment and provide the projectionist. Amy will coordinate with Rebecca at the health department about equipment details before the event.

Game night at the library- 11/3/17 First Friday 5-7pm. CRC will partner with the library to provide games and volunteers for the event. Amy will email KCHS Interact and NHS advisors for student volunteers. Natalie will email WAC for student volunteers. We will do a game drive to acquire additional board games to use during this event. Erica will inform us if the gym can be a drop off site. The library could be an additional drop off site. Amy will find out where the board games are located that are “owned” by the town.

Dickens of a Christmas weekend- the commission decided against showing a movie at Music Life – we feel there are ample other opportunities for families that weekend. Natalie advised the library will have a toy and model train exhibit this weekend for families. CRC will promote this and future library events on the Facebook page.

Erica discussed upcoming social sports happening every Thursday night at KAC. November – dodgeball. December- wallyball. January – pickleball. Must be 18 and older to participate. CRC will continue to promote these activities on the Facebook page.

Playground equipment- Amy attended the Facilities Strategic Planning meeting at KCHS last month to propose relocating equipment from the closed schools (Worton and Millington Elementary) to Bailey Park. No feedback was given as it was just a meeting to gain community ideas.

Emily advised that the swing set equipment at AJAX needs a little TLC. Amy will email Bill Ingersoll regarding this matter.

Parent and Me Paint activity (Emily)
